Beef and Sausage With Noodles

  • Marinate beef cubes in Worcestershire sauce for a couple of hours.
  • Dissolve bouillon cube in water.
  • Cook noodles as directed for al dente and put aside.
  • Brown beef cubes (with Worcestershire sauce) and onions in butter.
  • Then place carrots, sausage, beef, onion, apple slices and bullion in Dutch oven, with water (enough to cover). You can add any spices and herbs that you desire. I use a little oregano, basil, allspice, sage.
  • Cook until carrots are tender, about 20 minutes. Stir in noodles and serve.

My favorite cookbook is an orange "Betty Crocker Cookbook" by Golden Press, I've had it for YEARS, I've used it so much that the spine wore out and is now held together with duct tape. My passion is PASSION, romance, puppies and other soft cuddly things. Pet peeves, people who think they are better than others, the rising gas and energy prices (I do my part by driving a Scion that gets 30 miles to the gal. and keeping heat on about 65 deg. in winter and about 70 in summer). I could go on, but why ruin a nice day talking about how bad government officials are :-)
