ingredients
- 4 lbs beef, stewmeat
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 quart water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder
- salt & pepper, pinch for seasoning
- 1 (14 ounce) can tomatoes
- 1 cup catsup
- 1⁄2 cup vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash Tabasco sauce
- 20 buns
directions
- Combine all of the ingredents in a large sauce pan.
- Simmer uncovered over low heat for 5 - 6 hours or until meat fall's into shred's.
- The mixture should be thick.
- Spoon onto toasted hamburger buns.
- Serve.
