  1. Oh wow...this was so so so delicious! It does make a lot; I halved the recipe and it was just about right for my 6 quart pot. My only variation from the recipe was that I used a whole (very small) cabbage instead of half a large one. This was so addictive; I keep going past the crock pot for one more bite LOL. It is great with hot buttered noodles. Thanks for posting!! Made for Veg*n Swap #21.
     
  2. Wonderful aroma while cooking! This made too much to fit into my 6 qt crockpot so be sure to have a very large crockpot or make a half recipe. I think that next time I'll saute the onions before adding for a more mellow flavour and perhaps add some cloves and bay leaf. Thanks for sharing. I love red cabbage.
     
  3. Wooeee this is an easy 5! SOOOO simple & delicious. 3 hours on high did not overcook the cabbage. I made a 1/2 batch which was perfect for the 4 of us. DH said it was perfect & I agree. YUM! Made for the photo swap 1/08. :)
     
  4. Easy to prepare - filled the house with good smells - good for leftovers. It makes a lot, so make sure that you have enough people that like cabbage!!!
     
  5. Quick, easy and tasty. I served this with my Christmas dinner and received lots of compliments. I was even asked for the recipe by my SIL who doesn't cook!
