Basic Coating Mix (For Chicken,fish & Pork)
"From the bottom of a box of "Christie" crackers....A good basic cracker-coating mix that can be used in "Crispy Barbecued Style Chicken" (that has been posted)....The amount of crackers called for in this recipe is about 2 stacks or 2 single packages."

2 1/2 coating mix
ingredients
- 84 finely-crushed salted crackers (such as "Christie's Premium Plus )
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pepper
directions
- Place crushed crackers and seasonings in a plastic bag;Shake well to combine.
- Makes 2 1/2 to 3 cups,enough to coat 6 pounds of chicken pieces.
- Store unused portion of crumbs in airtight container in refrigerator.

I am a busy single mom of 5 growing boys!!
My children's ages are 21,18,14,12 and 10 1/2.
In my spare time,when I have any, I try to walk 3 miles a day.I like to read Woman's World and inspirational books and if I didn't have 5 beautiful boys to care for, I would probably be doing missionary work.
