  1. I had a few bananas laying around that were over ripe that I wanted to use up so I came to zaar and combed through some recipes in search of something new to try. I've never made banana cookies before so this recipe got me curious. When I took my first bite of one of these fresh from the oven it was like eating a bite sized slice of banana bread. They had a light cake like texture and they tasted fantastic. I will definitely make these again. The only change I'd make next time around would be to cut back the salt to 1/2 tsp because I thought the salt was very noticeable and they were a bit too salty for my taste. I also adjusted the bake time to 12-13 minutes rather than 15. Very good cookie recipe. Thank you for sharing!

I'm a city-girl at heart. I love the loud busy limelight that only the big city can give you. Love got ahold of me 9 years ago and I have now been trapped in the counrty!!! haha...I have 2 children ages 4 and 5, 2 Akitas ages 1 and 3, a 1 year old Blue and Gold Macaw and oh yes, a 26 year old child too that we sometimes call the husband. I love to cook and bake and try new recipes whenever possible. I have a few cookbooks but love to "barrow" recipes from others and throw in my own flavor.
