ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup old fashioned oats
- 1⁄2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
- 1 banana, cut into thirds
- 1⁄2 cup nonfat milk
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
directions
- Put everything in the blender and puree until smooth. Serve immediately.

I made this for breakfast today instead of my daily regular rice chex + banana. I used a frozen banana to make it a little colder and soy milk. It was pretty good, but I'm not sure if it'll supplant my regular breakfast. If I make it again, I'll try brown sugar instead of honey. Cinnamon and brown sugar always go together well. It was a pain to get all of the smoothie out of the blender because it was so thick.
