  1. I'm sorry but this just didn't seem to turn out correctly. It was too soft and runny for our tastes so I ended up serving it over toasted rolls. Perhaps it needs more mashed potatoes as the previous reviewer suggested or even cubed cooked potatoes would work nicely.

  2. This a great quick and easy meal! Wonderful recipe if you have leftover mashed potatoes. I made it exactly as written, but I used 3 cups of mashed potatoes instead of only two. I used regular cheddar instead of reduced-fat. I was thinking it might be bland, but it really isn't. We had steamed broccoli on the side, and I think that some chopped broccoli would go well in the casserole (in the ham layer). Green onion would be good in this, too. Best of all, it's a tummy-warming kid-pleaser (and I'll need to double this next time:))! Thanx for posting this. We'll be eating this again.

<p>I'm a journalism and French major at the University of Georgia who discovered the joy of cooking a couple of years ago. I spend my summer vacations making dinner almost every night for my family, which includes my two younger sisters (11 and 14), and leap at the opportunity to cook every time I go home for a weekend visit...unfortunately, cooking in the dorms is more trouble than it's worth! <br /> <br /><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/chef3.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com" /><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"> <br /> <br /><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/beartag_1_1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting" /> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/adopted_1_1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting" /> <br /> <br /><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/pacbanner.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket" /> <br /><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/200_PACpic.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket" /></a></p>
