1. This technique is so great! I loved how crispy and brown the fries got and how yummy they tasted. I have to admit that I didnt dry my fries too well after the soaking (just hurriedly with a paper towel), but it still worked out nicely.
I reduced the oil a tad and only baked these at 400?F for 30 minutes which was plenty.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this winner with us!
Made and reviewed during Veggie Swap #47 June 2012.

 2. 475 is too hot. I have an accurate oven now, and mine were scorched after 20 minutes. 450 would probably be ideal. The potatoes were delicious in spite of the scorching, though. I used seasoned salt for the seasoning. I'll make these again, but with some adjustments. Thanks for posting!

 3. Great fries! I like garlic-y fries so kept mine simple and just added garlic powder. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Thanks VeggieCook98 for a nice keeper. Made for New Kids On The Block Tag.

 4. This turned out so good! The fries were nice and crispy on the outside and soft inside - perfect. I used some Cajun seasoning for the optional seasoning. Made for Veggie Swap 62.

 5. My taters came out nice and crispy! My toaster oven would only go to 400* and cooked less time for a smaller oven. Thanks for the treat! Made for Veg. Swap July 2012.
