We loved this. I used a tube of sage sausage and omitted the hamburger. We also added some black eyed peas.

Very tasty! I used andouille sausage, and I only had a red bell pepper instead of the green; otherwise the recipe was made as directed. Everybody ate it, which is shocking enough, but even all the leftovers were polished off, too. I will definitely make this again; thanks! :)

Being from LA myself, I was skeptical when this recipe did not call for adding the seasonings to the meat as it browns. I love trying new recipes, so I was like, "Let's see what happens". Unfortunately for me, I made the mistake of tasting it once it was done, and I'm still "tasting"! What a wonderful recipe!Super easy to make, and an instant success. Thank you from my household to yours!

This was so easy! Adding the vegetables after browning the meat released the pan juices, making just the right amount to coat the rice. This is my favorite way to make dirty rice, by far.
