  1. I was too lazy to chop the pistachios, so I just pushed a whole one into the blue cheese. I actually used pistachios that had been roasted with Chinese Five Spice (see Recipe #450495, which probably added just a bit of flavor. These were quick and easy and went over well at my party. I will definitely make them again.
     
  2. A wonderful and easy appetizer. I used pecan halves instead of pistachios, which worked quite well and tasted great. I've made these a few times and they have been a delightful hit every time.
