  1. Very nice apple dish! I didnt have any lemons on hand so I added some lemon juice to the apple juice to make 1/2 cup. Love cinnamon so used 1/2 teaspoon and enjoyed the flavors of the spices and the freshness the lemon juice added. Very easy to make very tasty! Made and reviewed for ZWT8 - 2012.

  2. This was a lovely treat with yogurt and oatmeal for breakfast, but I could see it being a nice side with pork, or a snack. I liked the lemon. Made for ZWT8

  3. A lovely quick and healthy sweet treat which I scaled back for 1 and served with a low fat vanilla yoghurt. Thank you HokiesLady, made for Went To Market.

  4. This was so good and so simple! I left out the lemon peel, just because I didn't have any. Sweet without being too sweet. Thanks!

  5. Yum! These were really easy to make and really tasty. Instead of having them as a snack, I put them on top of my oatmeal at breakfast and that was very nice indeed. Made for 1-2-3 tag.

Tweaks

  1. What a great low cal dessert. It's remarkably sweet considering there's no sugar. I used unsweetened apple cider in place of the apple juice and I think that next time I'll leave out the nutmeg. It would go great with icecream if you're not dieting.
