  1. At the camper, had to use what I had on hand! Apple pie filling, Cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, yellow cake mix, 1 1/2 sticks of melted margarine and walnuts sprinkled on top. DELICIOUS!

  2. Hello again my friend! My aunt always made her dump cake with cherry filling and the pineapple and it always cloyed me to tears. This is wonderful! I used an apple cinnamon pie filing and have also found that raspberry pie filling is REALLY nice as well. Thank you for the change of pace! A winner! ;)

  3. I make this dump cake with a spice cake mix and walnuts. Delicious!

  4. This was very good. Not too sweet, unlike some other dump cakes I have tried. I covered it with chopped pecans (not coconut). Yummy

  5. This is absolutely awful. It's like eating raw sugar flavoured with some vanilla and apples. It's like a pineapple upside down cake and an apple cobbler made a horribly disfigured baby. It's like someone dropped an upsidedown cake in a puddle and then threw some apples on it a a cover...Sometimes things aren't meant to be mixed... This is one of those times.

There I am sitting in front of the computer, one of my favorite spots in the house. When I'm not at the computer, I enjoy cooking and entertaining. See my icon? It is an old Royal typewriter. My father had one just like it that he gave me when I was in college. It had one key that stuck, but I typed all my term papers on that old thing. Whenever I see that icon I remember those happy days.
