This was really good. I think next time I will cook the apple and apple pie spice with the oatmeal and maybe not use quite as much brown sugar splenda. I don't like too much sweet early in the morning. The rest of the day anything sweet is fair game. Thanks for a great, healthy recipe xxciv.

This was quite good. I used some overly ripe apples, so the apple flavoring really came through. The only thing I did differently was omit the salt (as we're trying to reduce sodium in our diet), but otherwise made as directed and it was delicious. Thanks xxciv. Made for Pick-A-Chef spring 2010.

Yummy oatmeal! I made the microwave version and it couldn't be simpler. I used recipe #235526 for the apple pie spice and really enjoyed the whole dish. Thanks xxciv for a nice treat. Made for Chef Alphabet Soup Tag.
