Delish! Mine came out overdone, but that is because I'm brand new to fry cooking. (Hehe, I love to bake.) I think I'd like to share some of my newfound frying experience :p... A) A minute is not actually that long. Dough fries FAST. B) After putting dough into the hot oil, the oil will not get any hotter...so don't get too excited and start putting the dough in 25 degrees too early! (but still, they came out good) I doubled the cinnamon and added nutmeg and allspice like Bayhill did. Even though mine were overdone, they were still scrumptious...best when they were still warm!

These little gems were yummy! They had a subtle, not too sweet apple flavor that my family really loved. I did double the cinnamon and also added 1/4 tsp. each nutmeg and allspice. The dough was very sticky, even after chilling so I had to use quite a bit of flour on my board when I was rolling out the dough. I think that next time I might add a little extra flour to the dough when mixing to make things a lot easier. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe!! *Made for Comfort Cafe*
