Apple-Cinnamon Bars

"This recipe comes from the Pillsbury Fall Baking Booklet that I found in the checkout aisle of the grocery store. "Use a multipurpose apple, such as Braeburn or Gala, or a cooking apple such as McIntosh, for this recipe. HINT: Look for the cinnamon chips near the chocolate chips in the grocery store.""

  1. I love love love apple things and this did not disappoint! Made last night and they whipped up in a flash. I did not have apple butter (and I thought I did!) so I substituted apple sauce and it worked just fine. Only other change was I did not make the frosting. I tried them first and they were plenty sweet for us. The frosting will be made next round. Thumbs up on this one and will make again for sure. Thanks!
