Apple Cider Spiced Oatmeal

- 1⁄2 cup Quaker Oats
- 1⁄2 cup fresh apple cider
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- grapes (optional)
- dried cranberries (optional)
- dried blueberries (optional)
directions
- Mix together oatmeal, spices, water, dried fruit, and apple cider.
- Cover with paper towel and stick in microwave for 3 minutes.
- Uncover, stir, and place in microwave for another minute.
- Cut fresh green grapes on top and add milk.

This smelled good as it cooked. You got a hint of apple cider in each bite. We wish I used the good cider from Deal's Orchard in Jefferson, or any orchard. I think it would have been much better if I did not use the store bought. I will make this again when I get a REAL jug of cider. Made for Fall PAC 2007 game
