  1. What bread setting should I use? quick? sweet? Thanks!

  2. I'm new to bread-making (like about a zillion other people), so not sure what "yeast" means in this recipe. Which kind am I supposed to use?

  3. My bread machine makes 1, 2, and 3lb loaves...what size would be best for this recipe do you think? Im assuming a 2lb?

  1. Lovely bread. Soft texture, high rising. I added the apples with the other ingredients and turned out fine. Too busy to wait for the beep. Very happy.

  2. I had some apples to use up so made this..was lovely toasted with cream cheese..thanks for posting!

  3. This was a tasty bread. I wasn't sure when to add the apple as my machine doesn't beep so I put it in on top of the other ingredients. I also added raisins. We tried eating it warm but it completely disintegrated when we tried to cut it so we had to wait until it had cooled down. Thanks for the recipe.

  4. Wonderful bread! Just the right amount of sweetness. I did use brown sugar not white sugar. I added my diced honeycrisp apples at the bread machine's beep. This is when you really have to watch the dough. After the apples were kneading in, the doughball got much to wet. I added more flour, gradually one tbsp at a time, until the doughball was just right. I may have used 5 tbsp of flour or so. The end result was delicious and just the right texture.....with little pieces of soft apple here and there. The kids especially loved this bread (they are apple fanatics). This bread will be made often here. I may even add some finely ground nuts next time. Thanx for sharing!

  5. This bread was sooo yummy! Warm with butter, it was perfect for breakfast. The apple was pretty much obileterated by my machine, so no chunks, so next time I am going to try to cut them bigger. My family loved it and it was a HIT!
