Apple Butter Bread for Bread Machine

Apple Butter Bread for Bread Machine created by user1234

A very high-rising sweet bread, perfect for breakfast. This recipe is the 1 1/2 size which rises to the top of my 2 lb machine. Do a search here for apple butters or try the one I use #11492. I needed to add about 1/4 cup flour during the first kneading...the dough was sticky.

Added - 1/8 cup +/- of Flax Seed Meal, - a few tablespoons of Almond Flour, - pinch or two of Mace, - and 1/4 tsp +/- of extra Cinnamon. My bread maker has a dispenser for adding items that are to remain whole in the final loaf, so I loaded it with lightly crushed walnuts too.

Can I substitute wheat flour with regular flour

My husband and I loved this at breakfast, it makes a soft and fluffy loaf. My dough ball was sticky after the first kneading so I added one tablespoon of bread flour. I used Great Value brand apple butter.
