Angel Hair Alfredo

"Very smooth and creamy, delicious sauce. I like to serve this with shrimp or scallops, but it also is very good alongside chicken."

I agree with the other reviewers... this was a little bit too thick. It also lacks flavor... needs something to give it a little kick. The basil was nice, but it just wasn't enough.

I used this sauce to top my stuffed shells with zucchini and spinach by Country Lady. The only change was that I used a about 2 ounces of cream cheese but my sauce was really thick. I liked the way of sauteeing the garlic in the oil first. It intensified the garlic flavor. Next time I'll make it with the shrimp and angel hair. Roxygirl

This was good, and was very quick for a nice weeknight meal. I used whole-wheat angel hair, and topped the dish with baby shrimp (recipe 76470). This dish came out a bit thick for me (it thickens really quickly), so I added about 1/8 cup more milk when I added the cheese. DH is an alfredo expert, and he really liked this. I thought it could use a bit more seasoning, more garlic & maybe a dash of cayenne? Thanks :)

I made this last night for a quick dinner and the smell of the sauce while cooking was so delicious. As MEP said, the sauce is quite thick once on the pasta. I prefer a creamier alfredo, but the taste was still great. My 3 yr old ate 2 bowls!!:)
