1. Great from-scratch recipe! We love make up the dry mixes so we can have them whenever we get hungry for them. We even made up a mix so we could have them when we went on vacation. My kids especially love these. What a quick thing to add some extra love to a meal. THank you.

 2. I made this using buttermilk and since it was a sweet bread, I served it with a savory beef stew. The bread really complimented the taste of the stew. Very simple to prepare with a nice texture. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Hi, I feel like I am new on this site even though my about me page states that I joined in 2003. I did not spend much time on here until purchasing a premium membership in Feb/07.Now I can't believe I did not become addicted to this site right away, as I cannot seem to stay away for long now. I have participated in 1 swap that was a great experience and recently posted a few recipes for the very first time - I also just signed up for the Pick a chef game. Now a bit about my family,I am married to an awesome, gorgeous guy who is not the least bit picky and appreciates everything I cook and bake for him. I am also very fortunate to have 2 fantastic daughters who are adventurous and love to try new things. They enjoy cooking and baking with me and will look through cookbooks and recipes on here for hours planning and marking pages of recipes we can make together. My love of cooking comes from my Mom who is a great cook, she taught me to make beautiful meals and we always sat down together every night for dinner which was not easy since I have 4 siblings and we all had different schedules, but somehow we managed to set that time aside to be together. We try very hard to do the same with our own family now. My favourite foods are CHOCOLATE :)of course. My husband and I are coffee fanatics, our favourite coffee is French Roast, epresso and Verona are a close second. We really enjoy Italian, Greek,Chinese,Japanese and seafood. I will try almost any kind of food although, when I watched Anthony Bourdain try authentic "bird's nest soup" I was quite nauseated, so I guess I will draw the line at some things. I have enjoyed spending time on Zaar and hope to meet more wonderful people. href="http://www.MakeYourSpace.com/myspace_counters/">MySpace Counters and MySpace Layouts from MakeYourSpace.com
