directions

  • Mix together the gel with warm water and pour over the hair after washing.
  • Do not rinse out.
  • Essential oils: Lavender, Rosemary, Geranium, Sandalwood, Lemon. Adults: For added benefit, you could add one of the above mentioned essential oils. Add no more than 2 drops per application. Essential oils have huge healing properties, so unless you are familiar with their characteristics, this is one case where little is enough!

  1. This recipe looks really good. I just got my own aloe vera plant and was looking for a few recipes to try. I will definitely try this one. Thanks!

  2. I LOVE this! It is so easy and so non-messy! I usu. use an ACV rinse, once in awhile, but haven't found it to make my hair softer or less tangly. The aloe mix did just that! It was easy to comb through and felt so soft. As a testimony - I went to get my hair cut the same day and my hairdresser said, "Your hair IS really soft!" I did not use the added oil, but will try it next time. Thanks Abby.
