This is a nice twist on a regular choc. chip cookie. My chips turned out to be old so for me they tasted a little odd but that is not the fault of the recipe and the cookie part alone tasted just fine. We really like almonds so this was a hit with my DH - he thought the choc was fine. I liked that the cookie kept its shape and didn't flatten out to much. The 10 minutes was just right to keep these a little soft. I decreased the recipe to 1/3 - it should have made 30 -33 but I barely got 21 with my little scoop. I'll be trying this again with fresh choc. chips! Made for PAC Fall 09
