"I got this from my mother in law..she got it from a barbecue cook in Texas years ago. It's so simple to make. fIi you try this you'll never buy the bottled stuff again..it's great!!"

ingredients

4 cups ketchup
2 ¹⁄₂ cups tomato sauce
¹⁄₂ cup dark brown sugar
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
5 ounces liquid smoke
¹⁄₃ cup lemon juice

directions

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Cool and then refrigerate.
Pour into desired containers.
