DIRECTIONS

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl or plastic bag. If you are making more than one, don't increase the oil and salt proportionately. For three chops, for example, I use 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tbl oil. For herbs, I use a combination of what looks good, for example, rosemary, lemon thyme, English thyme, parsley, oregano, marjoram, chives - whatever looks good.
  • Let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature. You can also refrigerate overnight. Remove and let excess drip off.
  • Preheat air fryer to 360 deg F. Place chop in basket and cook 8 minutes. Turn over and cook another 8 minutes or whatever time you need to get to your desired doneness. This amount of time yields medium done chops in my AF, internal temperature of 155 deg F. Use a thermometer to check for doneness. Timing will depend on how well done you want your meat, how full your basket is, and the peculiarities of air flow in your fryer.
