ingredients
- 8 torn mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon sugar syrup (it's very tart, so you may add more)
- 1 1⁄4 ounces gold tequila
- 1 1⁄4 ounces fresh lime juice
- lime wedge, to decorate
- mint sprig, to decorate
directions
- Muddle the mint leaves with the sugar syrup in a highball glass. Add the tequila and lime juice, fill the glass with crushed ice, and stir vigorously to mix. Decorate with a lime wedge and a mint sprig.

I like the ingeredients of this drink a whole lot, but the measurments were not right for me. I didn't get enough mint or sweetness in the drink from he recipe, but after making some a adjustments, I loved this drink! I one made as the recipe states and then one with more mint and agave necter instead of sugar syrup which I thought yielded better results. For my taste the ingredients were perfect, but the amounts need adjusting. Of course it's all a matter of taste :) Made for Bevy Tag.
