8 Hour Beef Stew

"Got this from my mother....easy to put together and quite tasty. Sometimes I'll add a can of corn, or whatever leftover cooked veggies in my fridge during the last hour of cooking."

• Ingredients: 11
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 2 lbs beef stew meat
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 3 tablespoons tapioca
• 3 -4 medium potatoes, diced
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 cup celery, diced
• 2 cups carrots, chopped
• 1 cup tomato juice
• 1 slice of crumbled bread

directions

1. Mix in crockpot.
2. cook 8 hours on low.
