MAKE IT SHINE!

I found this recipe in Fix-It and Forget-It Recipes for Entertaining. When I made this the cream of tartar seemed different so I used Cornstarch. This seemed so very thin so I mixed up a little cornstarch and water. I then cooked this for 5 hours and it still seemed very thin so I mixed up bit more and this cooked for 4 more hours. Still was a bit thinned. My family thought this was ok, nothing special.
