Looking to make an impression on Valentine’s Day, but not looking to spend over a grand at Salt Bae’s new steakhouse? Well, you could always stay home and whip up a fine, fine meal yourself. Or you could make a major impression by surprising your date with a classy three-course meal at your favorite burger joint.

Oh yes—that favorite burger joint. This year on February 14th, a McDonald’s in Newcastle is opening its doors to lovers and romantics for three very special Valentine’s Day seatings. Couples will be treated to a three-course sit-down dinner—complete with tablecloth, candle and red rose—all for the low price of $28 (£20).

Guests will be able to choose from three seating times: 7 p.m. for those looking to get home in a hurry, 8 p.m. for the Goldilocks diners who don’t want to eat too early or too late and 9 p.m. for the night owls.

“That's right, McValentine's dreams really do come true,” the restaurant wrote in a Facebook post. "Email us to look at our menu or to book your table now to avoid destroying your chances of real 'couple goals' this McValentine's Day.”

Guests will start out with a first course of cheddar bites, chicken nuggets and carrot sticks to set the mood with a crunch. For the main course, diners will choose either one of the restaurant’s burger options or a 20-piece chicken nuggets to share, sharing being the much more romantic of the two options. Finally, an epic, instagrammable dessert will be served in the form of either a McFlurry, a bag of fruit, a muffin or an apple pie.

Sounds pretty gourmet to us, and no doubt a whole lot more affordable than that other Michelin-starred joint you were considering. Whether you’re going for a first date or going to propose, your date is undoubtedly going to be loving it. Trust us.
