After flying through the foodie rumor mill for weeks, a new Starbucks beverage was finally confirmed on Thursday morning, validating the hopes and dreams of every Halloween-loving beverage addict in America. The Zombie Frappuccino is here, gooey brains and all.
The Zombie Frappuccino is Starbucks’s newest Halloween creation; in past years, the company has pushed a vampire drink called the Frappula Frappuccino. The Zombie Frapp is made with a green-colored cream base that’s infused with tart apple and caramel for that apple-on-a-stick taste. Pink whipped cream “brains” top it off before being decorated with a blood-red mocha drizzle.
If you’re interested in zombie attacking this Frankenstein-style beverage, better act fast. It will be available at select Starbucks from October 26th to 31st, and they just might sell out quickly. If they’re anywhere as popular as the Unicorn Frappuccino, that is, which sold out in less than a day at most locations.
The coffee giant is also offering some spooky treats for the season, including Mummy Cake Pops and Day of the Dead Cookies.
