Hey girl. We’d like to offer you a beverage with some whipped cream with chocolate sprinkles. Happy Valentine’s Day.

Love is in the air and Starbucks has announced the perfect drinks and treats for the season. Beginning Wednesday, February 7th, and lasting until the big day, the 14th, thirsty lovers (and everyone else) will be able to stop in for a Cherry Mocha and assorted Valentine’s Day goodies.

The Cherry Mocha can be ordered hot (passionate!), cold (meh.) or blended (for those who have recently had their hearts tossed in a blender). It was inspired by chocolate-covered cherries and features rich espresso mixed with a mocha sauce, covered in whipped cream, red sugar and chocolate sprinkles.

All that love in the air can leave you with an appetite, so Starbucks is also offering some Valentine’s Day treats, like heart-shaped sugar cookies and cake pops covered in confetti hearts. The sugar cookies are coated in white- and pink-colored chocolate and dusted with colorful sprinkles. The cake pops are made with chocolate cake that has been dipped in milk chocolate and rolled in heart-shaped sprinkles.

Will the Cherry Mocha join the likes of Cherry Coke and these chocolate-covered strawberries in the gastronomic hall of legends? You’ll have to try it to find out.
