Skittles Releases 'Love Mix' with Valentine's Day Approaching

Because nothing says “I love you” like yumberry-flavored candy.

The holiday season is officially over, so naturally it’s time to start thinking about buying more stuff for your significant other. That’s right, Valentine’s day is just over a month away, and chocolate just isn’t going to cut it this year.

Because why eat chocolate when you could have specially manufactured Skittles that were meant just for giving to your beau? The secret is out: brand spankin’ new “Love Mix” Skittles have reportedly hit shelves in America, and they look perfect for sharing (or for replacing those rose petals that you were planning on sprinkling all over the bedroom floor).

According to candyhunting—which posts its sweet new junk food discoveries on social media—the flavor offering in each bag of these tiny, tart treats includes watermelon, white grape, yumberry (lemme’ get summa’ dem’ antioxidants—the yumberry looks like a lychee but tastes like a pomegranate), strawberry, and cherry.

“The White Grape flavor makes me wish these were all wine flavors rather than another Skittles mix of various fruits,” said candyhunting in the same post.

According to various bloggers who have shown off their pink treasures, the romantic sweets can apparently be found in the romance aisle at Target. And, if you haven’t fallen in love this year and are planning on spending a night in with your pets on Valentine’s Day, there’s no shame in putting on your favorite music mix eating the whole bag of Love Mix. Treat yo’self.
