The beginning of fall means one thing at Shake Shack: a German-style celebration of beer and burgers, otherwise known as Shacktoberfest.

Festivities at the NYC-based burger chain were kicked off on September 22nd at the Brooklyn Brewery and will last until October 1st. During Shacktoberfest, customers will be able to get a 25-ounce Shake Shack Bier Stein for $10.50. Brooklyn Brewery makes the beer that goes inside, whether you choose the custom-made ShackMeister Ale or the seasonal Oktoberfest brew. Even better, you get to take the glass home with you, then bring it back for Shacktoberfest refills.

Shake Shack is no biergarten, but just in case you’re worried about all of the imbibing, you have our permission to wear your Oktoberfest kicks (no guarantees that you’ll get any sort of discount for your festive spirit, but why wouldn’t you try?).

And while there’s nothing better than burgers and beer, if very large mugs of beer are not your sort of thing, you might still be interested in stopping by for a Will & Grace Shake, also available until October 1st.
