Summer is less than a month away, and with the return of fine weather after a brutal winter, the pool is the place we want to be spending all of our time. That means ice-cold cocktails and picnic food. But can you drink and eat while getting an extra-crispy tan in the pool? KFC seems to think so.

A new sweepstakes, launched on Wednesday by KFC, wants to place you gently on a very special pool float that’s shaped like Colonel Sanders. The oh-so-buoyant Crispy Colonel floatie—inflated in honor of the Crispy Colonel, George Hamilton, himself—will be given away for free, just in time for the 4th of July.

It’s no unicorn, but the Crispy Colonel Sanders floatie raft is the ultimate, over-the-top way to get your fried chicken on while frying in the sun (Genius Kitchen reminds you to always wear sunscreen). Measuring in at the size of a really big inflatable Colonel, the floatie features a cup holder for your favorite summer beverage, as well as a bucket holder—perfect for stabilizing a bucket of fried chicken.

To enter, simply head to KFCfloatie.com and sign up for the company’s promotional emails. Winners (all 750 of them) will be picked at random on June 23rd.

"We want this to be the best summer ever, so it wasn't enough for us to bring back George Hamilton as the Extra Crispy Colonel," said KFC chief marketing officer Andrea Zahumensky in a statement. "We wanted to create the perfect vessel for enjoying the Crispy Colonel sandwich (or a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken).”

Whether you’re in a pool, on a lake, or riding down some whitewater rapids (seriously, don’t do that), this ironic pool float will have heads turning and mouths watering.
