Fans of Reese's New 'Outrageous' Bar Could Win $10,000 and Candy for a Year

In the Instagram age, it’s easier than ever to show the world how much you love your favorite products. If your favorite product happens to be Reese’s, now’s the time to get creative, because you might just hit the jackpot.

To celebrate both the official “I <3 Reese’s Day” and the release of its new candy bar, Reese’s “Outrageous!” bars, the brand that makes your favorite peanut butter cup (unless you’re one of those who prefers the Trader Joe’s knockoffs) is holding a competition for its most passionate fans.

One Reese’s-obsessed person stands to win a year’s supply of Outrageous! Bars and $10,000 in cold, hard cash. Another 100 almost-as-Reese’s-obsessed people will win a box of the new candy—a chocolate bar, stuffed with Reese’s peanut butter and Reese’s pieces. It’s like peanut butter inception for candy bars.

How does one come out on top in the quest to be the best? One goes over-the-top with Reese’s products and shares their creation on Twitter or Instagram (use the hashtags #ReesesOutrageous and #Contest). The brand gave a few inspirational examples of people who have done outrageous things with its candies in the past, including Brad Whiteside, who created a Reese’s-dispensing freezer, and Jon Ernst, who filled his bathtub with Reese’s and went for a soak.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, submit your crazy brand-obsessed entry before June 1st. If you want to see what the passion is all about, Reese’s Outrageous bars are available in both standard and king-sized bars, as well as in 10.5-ounce bags.
