Eating With the Stars: What the Celebs Will Be Munching on Post-Oscars

After weeks of worrying about looking good in a tight ball gown, we’d be craving something good to eat too. Luckily for the celebs, the post-show party features a feast fitting of the occasion.

Chef Wolfgang Puck will be returning to cater the star-studded Governor’s Ball after party for the 21st year in a row, and he is pulling out any stops with his extravagant 50-item menu.

The menu ranges from fancy finger foods, like Lobster “BLTs” and spicy tuna tartare in sesame miso cones, to elevated bar bites like homemade pretzels and deviled eggs with spiced crab.

Of course, there are also a fair share of extravagant menu items being offered up to the 1,500 guests, ranging from a baked potato with caviar, to chicken pot pie with black truffles, to parsnip soup garnished with white chocolate and 24K gold, in true opulent Oscars style.

And if they save any room for dessert, party attendees can choose from a dessert menu that would make Willy Wonka himself jealous, from peanut butter and strawberry jelly lollypops to truffle coconut macarons.

Unfortunately, we’ll just be dreaming of and drooling over this menu (and the sight of Bradley Cooper in a suit!) from the comfort of our couch. Pajama pants and a glass of wine are also scheduled to make appearances.

If you want to make an epic Oscars meal to rival Wolfgang’s (okay, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch), try out some of these Oscar nominee-inspired recipes for a winning after-party of your own.
