As Taco Bell is well aware, if you want the food world to flip the freak out, you give them unconventional fries.

Dunkin’ Donuts has apparently taken this lesson to heart. The coffee-and-doughnuts chain announced on Wednesday that, after a limited test and a wild response, it will be releasing its very own “Donut Fries” starting Monday, July 2nd.

The new sugary snacks are made from flaky croissant-style dough that gets rolled in fresh sugar and cinnamon after being fried into a doughnut stick. The doughnut fries are available at select Dunkin’ stores in the USA; two bucks will get you five doughnut fries.

The company attempted to test its new doughnut fingers on the down-low in its hometown of Boston, but the word got out and Dunkin’ fans demanded a national release. Naturally, the company obliged. Dunkin’ has described its new product as “delicious,” “shareable” and “fun.”

The only thing that’s missing is some sort of dipping sauce. Because, let’s face it, isn’t the best part of the fry the act of dunking?
