The “Burger of the Day” board is a running joke on the Emmy Award-winning cartoon series Bob’s Burgers. Ripe puns melt together like cheddar cheese with craveable sandwiches. Fans have had to use their imaginations to get a taste of witty chalkboard specials like the Foot Feta-ish Burger—until now.

A Bob’s Burgers pop-up opens on Monday, December 18th, at New York’s Chefs Club Counter—a “fine-fast” restaurant that serves the creations of known chefs-in-residence. Currently headed by Eggslut chef Alvin Cailan, the Chefs Club Counter will be taking up the philosophy of “another day, another burger” to produce seven different punderful sandwiches from December 18th through December 24th, each being more rhetorically magnificent (and salivary gland-triggering) than the last.

While all the burgers will feature a beef patty on a bun, the toppings could not be more varied.

Monday munchers will be amazed by the “Baby You Can Chive My Car Burger,” which features sour cream, mustard, chives and fried pickles (pictured above).

Tuesday tasters can treat themselves to the “Don’t You Four Cheddar ‘Bout Me Burger,” which features four types of cheddar cheese with lettuce, bacon and onion.

Wednesday wolfers will witness the “Foot Feta-ish Burger,” also known as the “Never Been Feta,” which is topped with feta, arugula, mayonnaise and mustard.

On Thursday, thou shalt think of the “Dark Side of the Shroom Burger,” as a masterfully umami-rich burger with shiitake mushrooms, pineapple and teriyaki sauce.

Friday feasters will find the “Hit Me with Your Best Shallot Burger,” which has caramelized shallots, goat cheese spread and arugula.

Saturday scarfers will see a rambling “We’re Here, We’re Gruyère, Get Used to It Burger,” with sweet pickles, gruyère cheese, caramelized onions and a bun dipped with drippings.

Sunday shoppers will make short work of the “Bet It All On Black Garlic Burger,” which contains mozzarella, spinach and a black garlic spread.

And, in a charitable twist, all of the proceeds from the Bob’s Burger pop-up will go to help the Los Angeles Fire Department fight the wildfires that are ravaging the area.

It’s going to be a lot of fun and a lot of bun for everyone. Just make sure you get there early; once the burgers sell out, you’ll have to try again the next day.
