Normally, 50-cent champagne would be enough to spark joy in the hearts of drinkers of all stripes and persuasions. But alas, the champagne for which we have gathered together to discuss today costs much more than 50 cents.

In Atlanta on Thursday night, “In Da Club” rapper 50 Cent—frequently known by his given name, “Fiddy”—released his very own brand of bubbly, christened “Chemin du Roi,” (“the king’s path” or the “king’s way”).

Chemin du Roi champagne will be available in three varieties at a range of price points that illustrate the rapper’s desire to create a status-symbol luxury item. A brut champagne will cost $199, a rosé champagne will cost $325 and a premium blanc de blancs will retail for $999, according to the Drinks Business.

Each bottle is adorned with a gilded chess piece—a king, naturally. 50 Cent has stated in the past that Chemin du Roi is for “winners only,” so pawns and rooks need not apply.

Fiddy is not the first rap artist to get into the bubbly game; he seems to be taking a page out of the book of Jay-Z, who is the owner of the Ace of Spades brand.

So the next time 50 Cent celebrates a birthday, the bottle fulla’ bub’ that he’ll be popping will, in all likeliness, be Chemin du Roi. N’est-ce pas?
