Directions

  1. 1. Sift flour into a large bowl; rub in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  2. Make a well in centre of mixture; por in milk. Using a knife, mix to a soft, sticky dough. Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead until smooth, around 5 minutes.
  3. 2. Roll dough on floured surface to form a 30cm x 40 cm rectangle. Spread with pizza sauce; layer with onion, salami, capsicum, mushrooms, and cheese. Roll up dough from one long side; place onto a baking-paper lined oven tray.
  4. 3. Using a sharp knife, make deep cuts at 3cm intervals along roll, ensuring not to cut all the way through roll. Brush with extra milk.
  5. 4. Cook in hot oven, 200;C, for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooke through.
  6. 5. Serve in slices.
