Yummy Chocolate Cake

This was so good after a hamburger cook-out with all the cousins. From Dot.

• Serves: 12

Ingredients

• 2  cups flour
• 2  cups sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1  cup margarine
• 3  tablespoons  cocoa
• 1  cup water
• 2  eggs
• 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1  teaspoon baking soda

• Icing

• 1  lb confectioners' sugar
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄2 cup margarine
• 4  tablespoons milk
• 3  tablespoons  cocoa
• 1  cup  chopped  nuts

Directions

1. Mix first 3 ingredients in large bowl.
2. Combine next 3 ingredients & bring to a boil in a sauce pan.
3. Remove from heat, pour over first mixture in bowl. Mix well.
4. Add remaining.
5. Bake in greased 11x16 pan 400 F for 20 minutes. Test center.
6. Make Icing - Put sugar and vanilla in small mixmaster bowl.
7. Combine margarine, milk, and cocoa in saucepan.
8. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over confectioners' sugar. Beat quickly, but well.
9. Add nuts. Pour over cake and spread.
10. Good warm or cold.
