Yummy Carmel Bars

Ingredients
Crust
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 3⁄4 cup butter
Filling
- 14 ounces caramels
- 5 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Mix first 4 ingredients. Add brown sugar. Add butter until crumbly. Save 1/2 of the crust mixture.
- Press other half in greased jelly roll pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Melt carmels and milk in double boiler. Spread over crust.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Add remaining crust to top of bars. Bake 10 additional miutes at 350 degrees.
