Yummy and Easy White Rice!

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 1 1⁄2 cups water or 1 1⁄2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon butter (optional)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Wash white rice with cold water three or four times until water runs clear.
- Soak rice for 30 minutes.
- Rinse out all the water from the rice completely.
- With a tight lid pot boil water, butter, and salt.
- Add rice let boil for 2 minutes, than simmer on low heat for 25 minutes do not lift lid!shut off heat once done.
- Do not lift lid for another 10 minutes.
- Fluff and serve.
