Yummie Turnip Greens

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 onion, vertically sliced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lb turnip greens
- 1⁄4 cup chicken stock
- 1⁄2 cup roasted red pepper, sliced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions
- Add olive oil and onions in a stockpot and saute over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes until onions are carmelized.
- Add brown sugar and pepper. Cover and cook 7-10 minutes, stirring often.
- Add turnip greens and chicken stock. Toss all and cook for 3-5 minutes uncovered.
- Add roasted red peppers and crushed red pepper flakes to taste.
- Serve immediately. Greens should be wilted, but do not overcook.
