Ingredients

  • 13 cup pitted dates
  • 13 cup dried fig
  • 13 cup raisins
  • 13 cup  dried apricot
  • 2 12 tablespoons honey
  • 1 12 teaspoons cinnamon, ground
  • 12 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 18 teaspoon clove, ground
  • 18 teaspoon cumin, ground
  • 34 cup pecans, toasted coarsely ground
  • 34 cup  almonds, toasted slivered
  • 1 12 tablespoons  orange liqueur
  • 12 cup  almonds, toasted slivered, ground

Directions

  1. Combine dried fruit, honey, and spices in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Add the pecans, slivered almonds, and orange liqueur and process until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into balls about 1 to 1½ inches in diameter and roll the balls in the ground almonds.
