Ww Chili Burgers

We really enjoyed these and I used the leftover salsa in Lightened up Breakfast Burrito the next morning! We served these burgers with fruit salad for a great low fat/low cal dinner. If following the WW flex plan these burgers are 6 pts each (if using the reduced cal buns). I cooked the burgers under the broiler but the original recipe suggests using a grill or a grill pan. Directions

  1. Preheat broiler (see note in description) and spray broiler pan with Pam.
  2. To make burgers, combine first 6 ingredients (beef - chili powder) plus 1/2 teaspoon salt and the pepper in a bowl, mixing with a wooden spoon or your hands. Form into 4 patties.
  3. Place burger patties on broiler pan (see note in description) and cook until browned (5-10 minutes), turn and cook other side. During the last minute or so place burger buns on broiler pan and cook until toasted.
  4. Meanwhile prepare salsa by combining salsa ingredients (tomato - lime juice plus remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt) in a small bowl.
  5. Place burgers on buns topped with salsa.
