World Cup Italian Meatball Pasta

This is one of Chef Christian Sandefeldt's new meatball recipes from around the world created for the start of the World Cup. It feeds four, costs less than £5 and is ready in under 15 minutes so you won’t miss a minute of the World Cup action!

Ingredients

• 350  g  of scan  meatballs
• 1 (8 ounce) jar  pasta sauce
• 1  garlic clove, chopped
• 1  tablespoon pesto sauce
• 800  g  of pre-cooked pasta
•  crusty bread

Directions

1. Pan-fry the meatballs and garlic for 2 minutes.
2. Pour in tomato sauce and bring to the boil.
3. Stir in the pre-cooked pasta.
4. Add a spoonful of pesto.
5. Serve with crusty bread.
