Ingredients
Pork filling
- 3⁄4 lb ground pork
- 1⁄2 lb chopped shrimp or 1⁄2 lb prawns (fresh)
- 1⁄2 cup finely chopped water chestnut
- 1⁄2 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon msg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 packages egg roll wraps
Crab filling
- 4 3⁄4 ounces cooked crabmeat
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 green onions (finely chopped)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 packages egg roll wraps
Directions
- In a bowl mix meat first, then add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Place 1 tsp At a time on each wrapper, moisten edges and fold in half diagonally then press edges to seal.
- Fold over the two opposite corners and pinch together.
- Deep fry in 375°F oil until golden brown.
- May be eaten freshly cooked or individually frozen and placed in bags, then remove from freezer heat on a cookie sheet in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes.
- Serve with plum sauce.
