Wilted Lettuce Salad

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, cut up
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 green onions with tops, sliced
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 -10 cups torn leaf lettuce
- 1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
Directions
- Place lettuce in a big bowl. In a skillet cook bacon until crisp, remove from heat.
- Stir in all ingredients into the skillet except lettuce and egg. When sugar is dissolved pour over the salad greens. Top with the egg and serve immediately.
