Wild Rice Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 cup wild rice, soaked overnight
- 10 ounces consomme
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3⁄4 lb sliced mushrooms
- 1 1⁄2 cups chopped celery
- 1 bunch sliced green onion
- 6 ounces sliced water chestnuts
- 1⁄2 cup vermouth
Directions
- Drain rice, combine with consomme. Simmer for 30 minutes. Melt butter and saute until limp. combine with rice, add vermouth and bake in oven for 40 minutes at 350°F.
