Wichita Falls Mop (for grilling)

My mother moved to Wichita Falls, Texas from Massachusetts in the 1950s and learned many new dishes from her Texan ex-mother-in-law. This delicious mop for grilling is among those recipes. This recipe makes about a quart and a half of it, and it's best to use beef stock, but broth is okay in a pinch. Show more

  1. Combine all ingredients and simmer together for about 15 minutes in a large saucepan.
  2. Cool slightly and use as a delicious grilling mop for beef or pork.
